Move It!:  Ten Years Since the Lake Mansion’s Journey Back Home

July 11, 5-8 PM

The historic Lake Mansion slowly traveled from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center to the corner of Court Street and Arlington Ave. on July 11, 2004 making it the most moving event of the 9th annual Artown celebration. The historic mansion built in 1877 houses the Art Access Gallery and Art Happens Here Studios plus year-round tours of the main floor. Join VSA arts of Nevada in celebrating the 2004 seven hour move and the ensuing ten years of growth and creativity for the non-profit organization and the neighborhood with Lake Mansion tours, a little bit of magic and activities at surrounding businesses.  We would especially like to welcome individuals who assisted with (or saw) the 1971 and/or 2004 moves!  For additional information call 826-6100, ext. 3#.
