Kathleen Rand
Kathleen Rand is a native Nevadan, survivor of thyroid cancer and is dealing with MS. She and her daughter, Chanda are authors of Marianne’s Magical Journey, a children’s book. Kathleen is studying for her PHD in business, works full time and is a single parent. Kathleen’s art is usually found in the written word, and has been included purchasing Today Magazine, wemedia.com, Bureau of Business Practice and others.
Kathleen takes her daughter Chanda all over the world. Kathleen is a member of The SCBWI, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Kathleen is listed in the eleventh edition of The World Who’s Who of Women, the fourth edition of 2,000 Notable American Women, and the third edition of The International Who’s Who of Professional and Business Women, and has been active in community affairs.
