Artists
With Disabilities Registry. . . . . VSA
arts plays an active role in the promotion and cultivation of emerging and
established artists with disabilities. Through exhibitions, performances,
galleries, and artists residencies, VSA arts is able to create opportunities for
these artists and raise public awareness of their artistic contributions. Artists
who are interested in becoming involved with the VSA arts network are encouraged
to join our Artists Registry. VSA
arts' Artists Registry is a computerized listing of images and information on
more than 1,000 artist with disabilities. The Registry offers artists an
opportunity to raise their visibility and reach others interested in
promoting their artwork. Membership
in the Artists Registry is free and open to all artists with disabilities.
Artists who submit a registry form, biography, 5 slides of their artwork and
sign the release form are accepted for listing in the Artists Registry. Registry
members receive announcements on upcoming VSA arts' events and 'The Pallette",
our informative artists newsletter. Artists also have an opportunity to be
included in VSA arts' online gallery that is open to visitors all over the
world. Members may
participate in a list service that provides regular exchanges of information
related to the visual arts. By building this online community, artist's are
encouraged to develop a network of peer support.
Please visit www.vsarts.org to register and
