Welcome to VSA Nevada/Lake Mansion's Website!
VSA Nevada’s newly re-designed website has now been up for almost 6 months. Most of the kinks have been worked out, but if you experience any difficulty, please let us know at info@vsanevada.org, 826-6100, ext. 3#, and we will try to quickly resolve. If you have any suggestions for changes, please let us know that too. You can register for a workshop/camp and pay with a charge card on-line on our secure site! You can also make a donation, get updates on our events, get more information on the “Rich in Art Licence Plate,” sign-up to volunteer, schedule a group tour, inquire about renting the mansion for your special event, download art lesson plans and more.
NEW! Paint & Sip at the Lake Mansion for a bridal shower, girl’s night out, birthdays. Each participant creates their own 16″x20″ painting in a fun, social setting. Yonni Coleman is our Featured Artist of the Month
Yonni R. Coleman is a somewhat unique kind of artist. She has had no formal training in art and chooses not to indulge in learning how to paint. Rather she finds it much more to her satisfaction by taking somewhat ordinary items or things or what other people would throw away and turning them into artistic and beautiful objects to look at and to feed the eyes. She loves strong color either in paint or in jewels. She has in the past done Lapidary work and has created some fine specimens. She likes abstract work, geometrics and design wherein you can find a measure of pleasure just by observing.
